Datuk Koe Peng Kang received the award for Setia Eco Park whereas Datuk Tan Hon Lim received the accolade for EcoHill Park. Both are Executive Vice Presidents for S P Setia.

Setia Eco Park, is a true testament to its tagline – Valley of Dreams! It has 56-acres of forest park offering a myriad of activities such as jungle trekking, eco-discovery walks and panoramic views from an observation tower. The development also features specially created tropical landscape with a diversity of flora and fauna. With the help of recognised Eco-advisers, Setia Eco Park has created a truly sustainable landscape that serves as an ideal habitat for fish, butterflies, birds and other friendly creatures. A further 94-acres of the development is dedicated to waterways, lakes and creeks all around the Setia Eco Park enclave making it a master plan that has a positive impact on the physical and environmental quality of the community.
EcoHill Park in Setia EcoHill, Semenyih certainly lives up to its expectation with the creation of a public space, which is valued and is accessible to the local community as well visitors, through the quality of its public realm, urban design, landscape quality, streetscape and successful integration of the surrounding uses. EcoHill Park is designed to minimise environmental impact and to enable and promote environmental sustainability as a community park. The ecosystem and natural cycles at the park’s site was carefully considered and taken into account right from the park’s inception.
Special features of this award-winning park include an outdoor gym called Fitness 123 and a children’s play area with specially-designed equipment called Play-Play. The Canopy is an area with a Tai Chi Lawn, a maze for meditative walks called Lost, and The Trellis where one can sit in silence and seek temporary respite from the hustle and bustle of life.
In fact, the entire park is treated like a tree museum, with many trees saved from the original site. Even oil palms have been replanted into the park. S P Setia has also established a partnership with the Cyber Plant Conservation Network (CPCNet) to plant indigenous fruit trees in a special site at EcoHill Park known as Energy 26.
