Homebuyers are allowed to split tribunal claims involving the same property
The Malaysian Federal Court has confirmed that homebuyers can bring separate claims involving the same property in order to stay within the RM50,000 jurisdictional limit of the Home Buyers Tribunal (TPPR). The RM50,000 limit does not have to be for the combination of all claims in respect of the same property, as long as the respective claims are for different types of actions.
