The Nest Residence @ Genting Klang is a prime leasehold development of commercial title. Not to be mistaken with The Nest at Old Klang Road, this service apartment is located at Residensi 357 Lorong 2/23D, Danau Kota, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Completed in 2018, the apartment is a product of Sierra Cube Sdn. Bhd. Established on April 23, 2012, the company is principally engaged in property investment and development. Much like its name, The Nest Residence was designed and constructed with the purpose of providing residents with a “nest” of their own, blending practicality and luxury to provide a lavishly designed household area that offer optimal space and maximal comfort. Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, the development ofThe Nest Residence provided good and satisfying facilities located at two separate areas which is Level 6 and Level 21, designed for the relaxation and benefits of the residents. At level 6, there are reflexology path, yoga deck, meditation deck, aerobic room, a covered kiddie play station, kids pool with wet apparatus and water curtain, floating gazebos, a Barbeque pavilion with 2 Barbeque pits, Herbs Garden and a multipurpose hall. Meanwhile at level 21, there is a sky pool, sky gym and a sky lounge. There is also a sky garden that comes with water features right beside another barbeque pit. As crime rate is reported to be higher in Setapak, like other high-rise projects in the area, The Nest Residence is guarded with top notch security features. The entire development is surrounded by CCTVs and 24-hour security surveillance. With a total of 330 units spread throughout 3 blocks of buildings (Block A with 30-storey; Block B with 25-storey; Block C with 21-storey), the serviced residence is of moderate density. Buyers will have a choice of eight different types of layouts to choose from, ranging 855 to 1,517 square feet, housing between 2+1 and 4+1 bedrooms. Type A at 855 square feet comes with 2+1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, Type A1 has the same housing but at bigger size of 871 square feet. Type B and Type C4 are both 1,000 square feet, offering 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Type C1 is the largest of all at 1,517 square feet with 4+1 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Units of The Nest Phase 3 can be considered the lowest within the Setapak region, with price as low as RM 550 per square foot, and apart from that, each unit is allocated 2 car parks, a perk that is rarely seen in property development. Residents would have to pay a maintenance fee of RM 0.25 per square foot subject to the size of their residence. Unlike other big developers, The Nest Residence seems to be Sierra only project to date. Other properties within Setapak area are Henna Residence, Danau Kota Suite Apartments, Platinum Lake Condominium, Ascenda Residences and Platinum Victory Lake City PV 13.
