Bennington Residences located at SkyArena, Jalan Ayer Jerneh in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur is a leasehold condominium recent development developed by Bennington Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWorld Group. SkyWorld is a property development company founded in 1997 as NTP World Development which was then rebranded as SkyWorld Development Group in 2013 to better reflect its vision, mission and core business of transforming cities. Bennington Residences is the 2.96-acre new project offering an integrated community living and the full completion is slated for 2019. It comprises two blocks (Block A and B) with 40 storeys. Block B was launched in 2015 and 70% of the units have been reserved. There are total of 580 luxurious units with sizes ranging from 1,092 sq.ft. to 1,570 sq.ft. The main unique selling point of Bennington Residences is that it is the only integrated development in Setapak that consists of residential, commercial and a multi-storey sports complex. The property is located strategically in Setapak’s prime area and easily accessible from the DUKE highway. SkyWorld also proudly presented Malaysia’s first triplex Sky Lounge and Sky Gym at the rooftop named Sky Park. Moreover, two acres of rainforest-themed Sky Park and Gardens are set upon to make wellness an everyday affair for all residences. Also, it will have unit types with spectacular view. Type A, B and D have Genting Highlands as the main view. Residents could also go for Type C and E’s unit for the pool view. Bennington Residences is also built near to a few established malls, namely Setapak Sentral Mall, Wangsa Walk Mall, AEON Big, Suria KLCC and Great Eastern Mall which offer the convenience and ease of living for all its residences. Other than the retail, it is also just a few minutes away from educational institutions such a Fairview International School, Sri Utama International School, SK Marian Convent, SK Jalan Air Panas, Air Panas Girl School, Setapak High School and Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR). For safety and security assurance, the Setapak Fire & Rescue Station is just at the opposite of SkyArena and there are two hospitals in the vicinity, Tawakkal Hospital and Kuala Lumpur General Hospital are both about 4km away. Apart from that, the modern, wellness facilities like Olympic-sized Swimming Pool, Board & Scuba Diving, Fitness Centre, Dancing Class & Centre, Badminton Courts, Indoor Rock Climbing, Aerobic Room, Martial Arts Class, Indoor Futsal, Football & Track Field, Basketball Court and Sports Medical Centre are customized for the potential residents especially sport lover in the 4-storeys sport complex. This project is built up with 2 blocks with 40-storeys each. The two blocks are on the land area of 2.96 acres. The blocks or towers comprise total of 580 luxurious units with the range between 1,092 sq.ft. to 1,570 sq.ft. in five different unit types, Type A to E. Type C are categorized into three (C1, C2 and C3), the other unit types are categorized into two. Type A is the form with the smallest unit start at 1,092 sq.ft. with 3 bedrooms. However, all of the Type A units have been sold out. Thus, Type B and C with 3+1 bedrooms will be suitable and they are recommended for those on a budget. The residents may consider the options between these 2 types because Type B has bigger room whereas Type C is with larger living room. For those who have a big family could consider Type D and E as more bedrooms (4 bedrooms) are offering. Moreover, these units are dual-key, which means there is a small living quarters attached to the main living unit. As mentioned earlier on, Bennington Residences is a newly introduced condominium and its expected completion time will be on Q2 2019. 70% of the units from Tower B have been booked since it launches. This indicates that this project is highly dependent and can be appealed as the best investment in KL because it is well accepted by the owners. Nevertheless, the cheapest and smallest units have been sold out however, Tower A will be opened next year for reservation with slightly increase of the price (10%) compared to Tower B. Yet, the discounts are still available for the interested buyers of Tower B. 5% discount will be promoted to Bumi as well as another 6% discount. The booking fee is RM 15, 000, the lowest among this area. Every unit owner will be given two parking lot whilst owner who purchase larger unit will receive three slots. The selling price for each unit of Bennington Residences are ranging from RM 589, 680 to RM 847, 800, which redefine as approximately RM 540 per sq.ft. The maintenance fee is priced at RM0.33/sq.ft. There are also several projects developed by SkyWorld Development Group. They are Ascenda Residences@SkyArena Setapak, Skyluxe On The Park@Bukit Jalil, Sky Awani etc. Meanwhile, the other worth checking out projects around that area are The Loft@ZetaPark, Platinum Victory Lake City PV13, Platinum Lake Condominium PV15, PV 10 Platinum Lake and Platinum Lake PV 12.
