Brief description of the resort
• This is a diving resort, known for its affordable rate among the avid divers.
• The property is surrounded by palm trees and tropical forest, overseeing Sulu Sea.
• Coral reef can be seen just about 200 meters from the resort shoreline.
• The land has trapezoidal shape with long shoreline of approximately 300 meters.
• There are 2 ravines nearby that leads to the sea, which keep the land dry, without flood.
• Currently, about 4 acres of the 6.89 acres are being utilized for the resort. There are still plenty of space for further development or adding new facilities namely swimming pool, blocks of 2 to 3 storey building, water game, among others.

Brief description of the surrounding area
• The prime location of the property provides quick access to Pulau Banggi which, along with neighbouring Pulau Balambangan, Pulau Malawali, Pulau Balak and Pulau Molleangan amongst others, a protected area that forms the southern half of the Balabic Straights which separate Borneo from the Philippines and is the meeting place of the Sulu and the South China Sea.
• The Balabic Straight is a passageway for all kinds of marine animals, from turtles to many type of oceanic animals such whale sharks, dolphins and pelagic fishes. The proximity of Pulau Banggi to that corridor makes it a fantastic opportunity for occasional encounters with that kind of fauna.
• The resort is also located not far from the famous tourist spot, The tips of Borneo, Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, Kudat.

Facilities included
• Chalet : 20 units
Each chalet is about 32 square meter (“sm”) complete with bedroom and bathroom. It is furnished with double bed, mattress, air conditioner, refrigerator, bathroom sanitary ware, water heater, among others.

• Restaurant
The restaurant is about 414 sm including kitchen and bathroom. It is furnished with dining table, kitchen utensil facilities and bathroom sanitary ware.

• Reception office & Dive Centre
The reception office has a wet store on the lower ground. This is where all the recreation equipment are being stored namely diving equipment, life jacket, kayak, windsurfing, bicycle, etc

It is a former lab centre, with built-up 54 sm, is now used for dry storage and other purposes. It can be converted for staff quarters.

• Main house
The main house is about 160 sm on ground floor with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a large veranda. On 1st floor, the attic loft has about 120 sm, plenty of room for recreation and for guests staying over.

• All the wooden structures at the resort were prefabricated from good tropical wood in Java and then assembled on the site.
