Langkawi, Kuah

Pulau Tuba and Selat have been designated as a Madani Adoptee Village under the Ministry of Finance, with the Langkawi Development Authority (Lada) serving as the implementing agency. It has received an allocation of RM2.5 million for the development of the area as a tourist attraction, which will in turn improve the residents' standard of living.

Through this initiative, 12 projects have been completed and are currently being implemented. These include community clean-up programs, community programs and aid equipment, tube well construction, solar light installation, mosque and surau upgrades, and toilet and landscaping improvements.
