8 February, KUALA LUMPUR – MAJU Kuala Lumpur yesterday organized the ‘Own It Now’ Housing Program Dinner at Maju Kuala Lumpur Sales Gallery to promote a quality housing program initiated by MAJU Kuala Lumpur and to increase home ownership among young professional.

The dinner was hosted by Rizmel Nazrin Dato’ Abdul Malik, President of Chambers of Social Responsibility Malaysia. With 30 official members consisting of youth leaders, the NGO focuses on youth leadership, scholarship programs, charity and foundation work.

Group Executive Chairman of Maju Group, Tan Sri Abu Sahid Mohamed and Group Managing Director of Maju Group, Mohd Faiq Abu Sahid were also present.

“As a youth leader and President of Chambers of Social Responsibility of Malaysia, I believe this is an opportunity to provide a solution for economic problems facing a lot of us young people in Malaysia. There is nothing better than to give back and walk the talk, so this program dinner would open different economic doors and opportunities for the young people of Malaysia,” said Rizmel Nazrin.

MAJU Easy Payment Scheme (MEPS) breaks the down payment into interest-free monthly installments, where purchasers only begin paying for the down payment a month after the booking fee of RM 2,000 is paid. With rising consumer price index and high home loan rejection rate, the easy payment scheme is a good way of helping the young professionals to own a home and aid in their property investment journey.

“With this also, I would like to say thank you Tan Sri Abu Sahid and his team for coming up with such a great scheme like the MEPS,” Rizmel Nazrin said.
