KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 — LTKM Bhd plans to acquire a parcel of freehold land in Jalan Puchong from its wholly-owned unit LTK (Melaka) Sdn Bhd for RM27.44 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, LTKM said the land would allow the company to obtain a better foothold in the growing area of property market and create greater shareholder value in anticipation of the land’s value appreciation in the future.
“The proposed acquisition is expected to be completed by the second quarter this year,” it added.
