Ideal Property Group has completed another new building – Pusat Pendidikan Al-Itqan – with the goal of benefiting the local community.
The company handed over the new Pusat Pendidikan Al-Itqan school buildings to the school management board on 7 February 2024. Students of Sekolah Menegah Islam Al-Itqan, who were temporarily located in Sungai Ara and Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Itqan in Teluk Kumbar, started enjoying the new facility in March this year.
The construction of the RM15 million school building, undertaken by Ideal Property Group, began in April 2021 and was completed within three years.
Located on a 3-acre site in Teluk Kumbar, Penang, Pusat Pendidikan Al-Itqan features four 5-story buildings with a capacity for approximately 1,000 students. The new facility includes a total of 51 classrooms, 4 laboratories, 4 meeting rooms, 3 multi-purpose halls, and 2 prayer rooms. Additional facilities include a wuduk space, medical room, resource centre, teachers’ office, administrative office, canteen, kitchen, utility room, and washrooms.
Dato’ Goh Teng Whoo, the Chief Operating Officer of Ideal Property Group, expressed that the company is honoured to be able to cater to the needs of the local communities through its I Love Edu program in areas where assistance is required.
“Education has the power to change the life of a person. This is the main reason why Ideal Property Group is focused on providing educational assistance to schools that require help,” he said.
The mock key was handed over Dato’ Goh Teng Whoo to En. Zulfahmi Bin Omar, the Executive Director of Pusat Pendidikan Al-Itqan.
Also present were Ideal Property Group’s Senior Project Manager, Nyiau Chin Kooi, and Senior Strategic Design Manager, Michael Wong.
