21 October, KAJANG – Gamuda Land unveiled the first Rumah Selangorku (RSKU) apartment that is fully developed using digital Industrialised Building System (IBS). Located in Jade Hills, one of Gamuda Land’s key township developments, Pangsapuri Gapura Bayu RSKU apartment opened its door today to purchasers in preparation of handover, which is scheduled to take place in January 2019.

Approximately 1000 excited home owners and their family members attended the ceremony in anticipation of the upcoming VP of their new home. In addition to experiencing the first look and feel of their new home, they were also treated to talks on handover processes and strata living as a community followed by lucky draws and a sumptuous lunch buffet.

The ribbon cutting and plaque signing ceremony was officiated by YBM Senator Dato’ Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Ibni Raja Ahmad Baharuddin Shah, Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government and Mohammed Rashdan bin Mohd Yusof (Danny), Deputy Group Managing Director of Gamuda Berhad, along with the senior managements of Gamuda Land and Gamuda IBS.

Staying true to Gamuda Land’s town-making principles, Danny explained, “We will support the government’s aspiration to create more affordable homes for the people. At Gamuda Land, we create places that people will call home, want to be a part of, grow up and grow old in. We do not compromise on quality, delivery and living environment for affordable homes and this is why we have adopted Gamuda IBS – Malaysia’s first digital IBS. It addresses the need to deliver better quality homes, faster.”

“With Gamuda IBS and the full operation of two of its factories, we will have a combined output of 8000 units annually. This will reaffirm our commitment to build homes with a faster delivery timeline,” said Danny, adding that Gamuda Land will continue to build more affordable homes in all its townships.

“The adoption of digital IBS has resulted in faster construction works with up to twelve (12) months reduction in construction timeline. With such advancement in construction technology, the government is confident of achieving our aspiration of building 200,000 units of affordable houses per year. I applaud the Gamuda IBS team for advancing the technology,” lauded YBM Senator Dato’ Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah.
