Fajarbaru Receives RM101.3 Million Contract From TYL Land & Development

KUALA LUMPUR: Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiar, Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd (FBSB), has received a RM101.3 million works contract to complete the remaining of commercial development construction works for TYL Land & Development Sdn Bhd.

The construction work involves a 26-storey tower block, a 15-storey tower block, two-storey of 48 units of shops, two-storey of 24 units of offices and a 5-storey elevated carpark and will commnece for 27 months from the date the contruction kicks off. The group, which is listed on the main market of Bursa Malaysia, is expecting the contract to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2018 onwards.

In a separate filling to Bursa Malaysia, FBSB disclosed it had also secured a RM705,000 contract from Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd for the proposed apron line marking, access road connection and associated works at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Air Cargo Terminal 1 from Aug 1- Nov 28, 2017.

Besides that, FBSB has also accepted a letter of award for the proposed apron line marking, access road connection and associated works at KLIA Air Cargo Terminal 1 from Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd worth RM705,000.

The contract will commence from August 1, 2017 to November 28, 2017, lasting for a period of 120 days.
