What is a studio or studio apartment?
A studio apartment is an apartment that has all its functional spaces, such as the living room, bedroom and kitchen, contained within a single space. These units tend to be more compact ranging from 350 sq ft to 500 sq ft.
Difference between studio and 1-bedroom apartment
A 1 bedroom apartment contains a separate living space from the bedroom so it offers some privacy to occupants as opposed to a studio apartment where every function is contained within a single space/room. This means that the kitchen, living and dining areas are separated or partitioned off from the bedroom by a wall. Typically ranging between 600 – 800 sq ft, these bigger units are located within older developments in the Klang Valley.
