10 best condo swimming pools in KL

Check out these breathtaking swimming pools in Kuala Lumpur!

Not many people know about the benefits of swimming. For instance, we already know that swimming builds muscles and is good for cardiovascular health. Swimming can also de-stress you after a hard day at work.

But did you also know that swimming pools are handy things to have nearby? It helps raises your Hensem Meter level when you take a good selfie snapshot in a beautiful infinity pool, and also provides a good body of water to hide in when hazardous parties like Ah Longs and mothers-in-law come a-calling.

If you are as convinced as this writer is about the untapped benefits of living in a condo with a swimming pool that’s luscious enough to swim in forever, read on.

1. Regalia Residence, Jalan Sultan Ismail

@ Regalia Residence Homestay

Regalia ranks high in the list of condos with the best swimming pool. The infinity pool is a thing of beauty, a serene pool of water you can bask in all day and night while you drink in the scenic KLCC view.

Why we love it: The view, babeh, the view! Plus, it’s relatively clean and well-maintained. The ONLY thing we can do without is turning into a wrinkly prune because we have fallen utterly in love with the pool.

2. Verve Suites, Mont Kiara

Yet another condo that boasts of a rooftop infinity pool, the Verve Suites is simply a surreal piece of work. I mean, look at the sleek pool deck, the seemingly endless blue waters and bubbly jacuzzi! There’s even a bit of beach to lounge in, with palm trees thrown in for good measure.

Why we love it: Besides the heavenly pool, the reading pavilions or meditation garden are good spots to relax and chill in. What we may not love are friends who “pop over for a quick swim” and never seem to want to leave…

3. The Elements, Ampang

From the outside, the grey facade of The Elements @ Ampang belies the serene, calming oasis within. The swimming pool itself stretches endlessly, and has a pretty strategic layout.

Why we love it: The floating gym has been ingeniously designed, and seems to beckon us to enter and transform ourselves into gym bunnies. But one look at the inviting, dazzling pool and we went, “Nahhh…”

4. Capri By Fraser

There are infinity pools, and THEN there are infinity pools at the Capri by Fraser hotel apartments in Bangsar South. We’ve been there several times, going back again and again (thanks to the amazing pool and the well-stocked bar, yum) but we never fail to marvel at how transparent the glass barriers surrounding the pool are. With transparency second only to THAT Kim Kardashian dress in THAT video, we can pretty much agree that this infinity pool is probably one of the best-kept secrets in Klang Valley.

Why we love it: You mean you haven’t seen pictures of the sparkly rooftop pool or wriggled your toes beneath the jacuzzi water jets? Dude, you have not lived!

5. Setia Sky Residences

The swimming pool at Setia Sky Residences is located in the posh Sky Club level, all 20,000 sq ft of it. What the actual fish, right? We were floored by the massive expansiveness of it all, with facilities such as saunas, jacuzzis, private onsen baths, lush gardens, tea and yoga pavilion as well as other lavishly luxurious spaces to explore.

Why we love it: We’re just going to leave these pictures here for you and say no more.

6. The Face @ Platinum Suites Kuala Lumpur

Barely a year old, the Face Suites Kuala Lumpur is already one of the most sought-after properties in the region. Touted as the tallest residential apartment in KL, its swimming pool is located where else but on the very rooftop. Yep, 51st floor.

Why we love it: The 38-metre long and borderless pool allows us to swim laps effortlessly, but distraction from the divine panoramic views of the majestic KL Tower and Twin Towers is imminent. Sigh, there goes our workout.

7. Fraser Residence aka 188 Suites

Besides its swanky residential units and strategic location in the heart of KL city, the facilities at Fraser Residence aka 188 Suites are top notch. Swimming in the resort-style infinity pool, one can feast their eyes on the beautiful view of the KL skyline.

Why we love it: Two words: swim-up bar.

8. Somerset Suites, Ampang

Yet another resort-style serviced residence, the Somerset Suites Ampang is the place to go if you want to be surrounded by opulence and convenience. The infinity pool is no less luxurious, and comes accompanied with a spa center, jacuzzi and gym.

Why we love it: The pool is relatively clean and well-maintained, and offers a seamless view of the KL city skyline.

9. Oasia Suites

If you’re one of the fortunate few who can afford to live like royalty in a hotel all your life, Oasia Suites is a little-known gem you should uncover on your own. The infinity pool alone is well worth your time checking it out.

Why we love it: The close proximity to the KL Tower made us drunk with delight as we laze about the scenic pool. Look Ma, I can touch the sky!

10. Cascades Residency Kota Damansara

Taking a leaf out of most upmarket serviced residences, Cascades has discovered the ultimate formula in making their facilities sound more atas, and that is to label everything with the word “Sky”. I kid you not. Take a look: there’s a Sky Club with Sky Gymnasium, Sky Lounge, Sky Terrace… phew. The list goes on.

But that’s not to say the place isn’t awesome. Au contraire, the rent is reasonably and the facilities are nothing short of pleasing. This is probably one of the least-known gem of a condo in KL, and now the secret is out. You’re welcome.
