Petaling Jaya (31 May 2026) – Aligned with Tropicana Corporation Berhad’s (“Tropicana” or “Group”) ESG commitments, its subsidiary, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (“TGCR”), honoured 114 top academic students from Kedah with a celebratory dinner and a special token of RM200 each. These students, who achieved straight ‘A’s in their SPM 2025 examinations, hail from 21 national schools in the northwestern Malaysian state. As Tropicana’s first flagship, award-winning township, TGCR continues to redefine the art of living, caring, and sharing—hosting an intimate and sumptuous dinner at its Grand Ballroom to celebrate these outstanding achievers. This initiative recognises their dedication while encouraging the pursuit of quality education grounded in strong values, humanity, and resilience, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani. As a community builder and placemaker, it reflects Tropicana’s ongoing commitment to engaging with its communities and nurturing future generations.
Speaking during the celebratory event, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Muhammad Fuzi Bin Harun, Chairman of Tropicana Group and TGCR, shared, “Tropicana places community building at the heart of everything we do. We recognise the challenges faced by today’s younger generation, and this initiative underscores our support for education and the importance of knowledge in shaping future leaders. We are honoured to bring the community together to celebrate the bright futures of these exceptional students. Their achievements reflect dedication, perseverance, and resilience, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each one of them.”
“This evening, I invite you to take a well-deserved breather and enjoy the evening. As a token of our appreciation, we are pleased to present each of you with a special token of RM200 as you embark on your trip to Jakarta. Always believe in your potential, dream boldly, and never give up on your aspirations. By prioritising quality education, we can nurture a generation that is knowledgeable, principled, and ready to face future challenges with confidence. Tropicana remains anchored on our OneTropicana vision: Connecting Communities, Forging Futures, and our mission to deliver lasting value to our community,” he added.
