Jendela Residences, Mont Kiara

If you’re looking at Jendela for your own stay, I think the facing is something worth paying attention to.

This Jendela unit faces North-East towards the golf course and KL city. Apart from the open outlook, you’re also not taking the full brunt of the stronger western afternoon sun — something I personally appreciate in a condo.

Another thing I like about this unit is that you’re not starting from a completely empty home.

The owner has already done some of the practical basics — built-in wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry, curtains, air-conditioning and ceiling fans are already in place. You still have the freedom to furnish the home your way, but quite a few of the things you would normally need to sort out first are already done.

And with the 3+2 layout, the additional rooms behind the kitchen can work as a helper’s room, storage or utility space depending on how your family lives.

For me, this one makes sense for someone who likes the Jendela layout and views, but doesn’t necessarily want a fully furnished home designed around somebody else’s taste.
