The festive cheer at the new Setia sales gallery in Taman Rinting, Johor was celebrated in style last weekend.

9 July, JOHOR BAHRU – It was fun galore as S P Setia unveiled the Taman Rinting Sales Gallery amidst a grand festive celebration in conjunction with the recent Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations last weekend. More than 1000 guests turned up at the event and were impressed with the new sales gallery that now houses and showcases Setia properties at Taman Rinting such as the landed Sinaran collection and the Sinar Link.

“We are happy to receive such a large turnout at the event today as we received many enquiries from new homebuyers who are keen to own a property in Taman Rinting,” said Saniman Amat Yusof, General Manager of S P Setia (Property South). “It is also very heartening to see guests of all creed and races attending our Raya open house event to experience the warmth of our Setia hospitality,” he added.

Guests who attended the event were treated with exciting Raya stage shows throughout the evening including traditional dance performances including the bamboo dance and tarian zapin. The Raya Lip Sync contest was a hit with adults and children alike. Guests also tried their hands at craft-making which offered activities like ketupat-weaving, batik colouring, do-it-yourself Raya Packets, kampong house painting and many more.

Shukri Abdullah was elated when chosen as one of the winners for the Setia Best Raya Costume contest. “I came dressed in my festive gear because of the Raya celebrations, and I would like to thank S P Setia for organising such a wonderful event for the community here,” said Shukri who was also interested in the new upcoming Setia properties in Taman Rinting.

“Our Riang Ria Childhood Games area was popular amongst guests who attended the event and many took the chance to reminisce with traditional games such as spinning tops (gasing), congkak, guli, batu seremban, lompat getah and many more while young children were truly excited when Ejen Ali made an appearance!” said Saniman. Ejen Ali is a Malaysian animated series character focusing on a boy who accidentally became a tactical agent after chancing upon a device prototype.

Saniman also expressed his gladness saying, “ It excites me to see so many homebuyers wanting to be a part of our Citizen Setia platform based on the enquiries we received today.” The Citizen Setia platform recognises and acknowledges Setia’s valued and loyal purchasers. True to the Group’s LiveLearnWorkPlay development philosophy, the Citizen Setia platform meets the aspirations of its residents and communities on a larger scale through its various rewards and activities held throughout the year.

“We encourage new homebuyers who missed this event to drop by our brand new sales gallery and enquire on the coming Setia developments at Taman Rinting,” added Saniman. “Homebuyers can be rest assured that wherever Setia sets our footprint, we continuously strive to connect with our communities, creating ecological features and sustainable living environments that will enrich their lives.”
