Ramadan Bazaar at Lorong Tar, Jalan Masjid India to be relocated to Jalan Raja

18 March, KUALA LUMPUR – The Ramadan bazaar situated at Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR) and Jalan Masjid India here, will be relocated to Jalan Raja, facing the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan the bazaar comprised a 200m stretch from the Jalan Gereja traffic light junction until the Leboh Pasar Besar junction.

“Even when the Ramadan bazaar is in operation, public vehicles can still pass through Jalan Raja. There will be no full closure of the road,” he said in a statement today.

The stalls were specially arranged to provide comfort to traders and visitors while avoiding traffic disruptions, he said adding that the Lorong TAR night market would not be relocated at the moment, as discussions with stakeholders were still ongoing.
