KUALA LUMPUR, 18 June – City developer, SkyWorld Development Group celebrated three milestones today by hosting a successful key handover ceremony for SkyAwani 3 Residences where the development received an impressive QLASSIC score of 79% whilst the SkyBridge – located on the 52nd level is officially awarded as the ‘Highest Residential SkyBridge in Malaysia’ by the Malaysia Book of Records.

The event is graced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob. He was accompanied by Datuk Seri Ng Thien Phing, Founder and Executive Chairman of SkyWorld; Mr Jwan Heah, Chief Marketing Officer of The Malaysia Book of Records; En. Sr Mohd Zaid Zakaria, Deputy Chief Executive II of Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia.

SkyAwani 3 Residences is seated on a 4.55-acre of leasehold land and comprises three 52- storey building towers with 1,905 units in Setapak. The three-bedroom and two-bathroom units come with a standard built-up size of 800 square feet and a covered parking space, priced at RM300,000 with full-fledge condominium facilities. SkyAwani 3 Residences offers a total of 22 facilities for residents such as a swimming pool, gym bubble jet jacuzzi, basketball court, multipurpose hall, children’s playground and others.

Speaking at the event, the prime minister said: “The Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia aims to help residents of the federal territories in the low-middle income group M40 to own a comfortable house to live in. If we look at the current development trends, one would need to pay RM500,000 or more to enjoy facilities such as swimming pools and gyms. This is indeed an added value given by SkyWorld for this affordable housing series.

In addition, the SkyBridge at SkyAwani 3 Residences that interconnects all the three towers is awarded “The Highest Residential SkyBrige in Malaysia – 170.55m” by the Malaysia Book of Records,” as the prime minister further elaborates. The prime minister was informed that SkyAwani 3 Residences achieved 79% of QLASSIC (Quality Assessment System in Construction) score from CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia), which indicated that the quality work in this development reached the standard set and was in line with the objective of “Do Things Right the First Time and Every Time”.

“As a city-centric developer, SkyWorld’s purpose is to Make Living Better by providing quality home and ultimate Sky Living experience in a sustainable environment,” cited Datuk Seri Ng later. “We are committed to our 3 key strengths; value creation (strategic location & quality
finishing), integrated Sky Living experience (good amenities & facilities) and innovative designs and concepts, regardless it is affordable apartments or exclusive condominiums.”

Lee Chee Seng, CEO of SkyWorld received both certificates of recognition from Mr Jwan, Chief Marketing Officer of The Malaysia Book of Records for The Highest Residential SkyBridge in Malaysia and from En. Sr Mohd Zaid Zakaria, Deputy Chief Executive II of CIDB for achieving 79% of QLASSIC score respectively. SkyAwani 3 SkyBridge stood at 170.55-meter (559.54ft) and is located on the 52 levels of the residents’ facilities floor. This 550-meter (1804 ft) long sky bridge interconnects all the threetowers, where residents get to enjoy unobstructed 360-degree scenic city skyline while enjoying wellness and community activities here.

More than 500 proud owners of SkyAwani 3 Residences were present as well to celebrate the occasion. SkyWorld is in full support of the government’s initiative to provide 1 million units of affordable homes by 2029. To-date SkyWorld has launched 6,236 units of affordable homes and is one of the biggest contributors to Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia. According to Datuk Seri Ng, Awani Series is cemented as one of the most sought-after affordable homes given its extraordinary value of good price, practical layout, quality workmanship and full-fledged condominium facilities.

Therefore, all its Awani Series are fully sold and SkyWorld is in the planning stage for its sixth instalment. SkyWorld plans to launch four projects in Kuala Lumpur this year at various strategic locations in Setapak, Cheras, Taman Melawati and Setiawangsa.
