17 February, Selangor – MGB Berhad (MGB or the Group), a subsidiary of LBS Bina Group Berhad, is collaborating with the Selangor state government to develop and build more than 7,000 units of Rumah Selangorku Idaman located at Shah Alam, Bandar Saujana Putra, Dengkil, Puncak Alam and Puchong by utilising in-house Industrialised Building System (“IBS”) pre-cast technology. This is in line with the state government’s initiative to boost construction of affordable housing in the state. The first Rumah Selangorku Idaman project is expected to be launched by the first half of 2021.
Rumah Selangorku Idaman developments will be high rise residential homes, starting from RM250,000, with a minimum built-up size of 1,000 sq ft per unit which include three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two car park bays. In addition, every unit will be partially furnished with a television set, refrigerator, TV cabinet, kitchen cabinets, air conditioning and water heater.
Demand for affordable houses has been rising in recent years especially in the urban area. MGB’s plan to build and construct more affordable houses via Rumah Selangorku Idaman within Klang Valley. Our exclusive targets home buyers who are working or staying in Selangor and first-time home buyers who are above 18 years old with household income of less than RM10,000. More importantly, the developments are strategically located, with good accessibility to the amenities in its surroundings.
MGB group managing director Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Lim Hock San said, “This aptly named project, Rumah Selangorku Idaman, has proven to be a dire need for the state as the demand for affordable housing is steadily increasing. Over the years, the Selangor state government has made concerted efforts to help the rakyat to have their own homes and its holistic incentives will improve the economic environment which ultimately enables the property development industry to grow and benefit first time home buyers.
