Mah Sing Tops Out Fully Sold M Astra In Setapak, Opens Sale for M Azura

Kuala Lumpur, 2025 – Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) has achieved a significant milestone with its first topping-out ceremony of 2025, marking the structural completion of M Astra, the Group’s third project in Setapak. The fully sold project is now 72% completed and is progressing ahead of schedule, with both towers expected to be completed by Q1 2026.

Building on this, M Astra has achieved 3 million safe man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI), reflecting Mah Sing’s strong commitment to workplace safety and construction excellence. This achievement reinforces the Group’s dedication to upholding the highest safety standards and ensuring a secure working environment for all involved in the development.

Mah Sing’s Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Dato’ Voon Tin Yow, Executive Director, Datuk Seri Leong Yuet Mei, the senior management team, consultants and the main contractors who were involved in the project’s development, attended and witnessed the momentous ceremony.

The retail shops available for sale are 100% taken up and confirmed tenants include Jollibee & Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. M Astra achieved 3 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI), aligns with UNSDG 8

The construction of M Astra was successfully completed with an exemplary 3,000,000 man-hours without LTI. Mah Sing and its partners prioritise the well-being of employees, leading the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) department to organise safety and health awareness programmes and briefings at the construction site regularly to maintain a safe working environment.

This achievement aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. Goal 8 aims to promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.

Expanding horizons: M Azura is Mah Sing’s third residential development in Setapak

The Group celebrated the opening of M Azura’s sales gallery last year which attracted over 4,000 registrations of interest. M Adora and M Astra’s complete sell-out has proven that there is strong market demand in the Setapak area.

Situated on a prime 4-acre site with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM508 million, M Azura is designed to be an affordable residential development.
