April 23, KUALA LUMPUR – DatumCorp International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) today announced an en bloc sale of the residential component of the transit-oriented Datum Jelatek as well as the signing of 40 new tenants for the mall component of the development at a business partners signing ceremony.
MyAngkasa Az Zahra Sdn Bhd’s Director Muhamad Shaharul Haji Mohamad Shariff today signed the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with DatumCorp International Chairman Hajah Norita Mohd Sidek for the purchase of 379 units in Tower B and Tower C. The units will be placed under a Rent to Own (RTO) scheme.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor Tuan Amirudin Shari, who was also accompanied by newly-appointed PKNS’ CEO YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain, and DatumCorp CEO Shytul Shahryn Mohamad Shaari.
Datum Jelatek is DatumCorp International’s RM 1.2 billion transit-oriented integrated development which is directly connected to the Jelatek LRT station via a link bridge from the mall.
The multiple-award winning development comprise 712 residential units spread over 5.65 acres of prime land which are linked to a 319,000 sq ft (NLA) four-storey retail mall.
Datum Jelatek has received a Green Building Index (GBI) certification for its green features and three Asia Pacific Property Awards, namely Best Residential Renovation/Redevelopment Malaysia, Best Mixed-Use Development Malaysia, and Best Mixed-Use Architecture Malaysia.
Datum Jelatek’s Residences 70% Sold
With the en bloc purchase, Datum Jelatek’s is now 70% sold. Currently the construction for the development is 65% complete.
Each of Datum Jelatek’s residential towers – Daneeya, Ayaana, Basheera, Careema is architectured to form a lily pad suspended within a ripple of water, has its own identity, with unique design elements and is connected by Malaysia’s first “sky-ring” – a circular podium measuring 8.9 meters in width that will link all four towers on the 27th floor allowing a spectacular view of KLCC, which is a mere 3.5 km away.

Announcement of the new brand will be released soon to the public. Another brand that will be opened at Datum Jelatek mall is the Event Hall managed by Pak Tam, a famed restauranteur and wedding caterer.
The modern multi-purpose Event Hall will be furnished with high quality interior decoration and equipped with superb audio video equipment. It can accommodate a seating capacity of 600 guests.
