Rawang, 19 July 2025 — Over 1,500 runners and supporters laced up for a morning of fun, fitness, and community spirit at the debut BTP Power Run 2025: Run For the Future, held at Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP), Rawang. As one of the largest townships in Northern Klang Valley, BTP came alive from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, transforming into a vibrant hub of activity with 5KM and 8KM runs and a lively community carnival.

Organised by Low Yat Group, the event marked BTP’s first-ever fun run — a symbolic stride toward its vision of becoming a vibrant, connected, and wellness-driven community. The morning began with an energetic Zumba warm-up by fitness coach Hannah Kamal, followed by a welcome address from Ms. Chia Gah Mei, Senior Manager at Low Yat Group.

Runners were flagged off in staggered sessions—8KM followed by 5KM—with 100PLUS water stations sponsored by F&N keeping everyone refreshed and energised throughout the course. But the fun didn’t end at the finish line. The carnival area was buzzing with activity, offering something for everyone — from medal engraving and massage corners, to face painting, refreshments, and engaging booth experiences.

The event also showcased the strength of community partnerships, thanks to support from generous sponsors including KPJ Rawang Specialist, Urban Retreat Spa, Suunto, Mamee Double-Decker, Hwa Tai, Weleda, F&N, My Engrave, NH Coffee Brew, 7 Days, Sodan Bike Tune, Mixue, and Cocco Albab — all of whom played a vital role in making the day a vibrant success.

Excitement peaked during the lucky draws, where participants won prizes such as a 50″ Smart TV, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Suunto Sonic Headphones, JBL Wireless Earbuds, Urban Retreat Spa treatments, and more. The Best Dressed Contest added a splash of fun and flair, while visitors explored Low Yat Group’s upcoming project — Armanee, a collection of double-storey homes featuring a private residents’ clubhouse, set to be one of the most exciting additions to BTP.

Throughout the event, the spirit of unity and celebration was undeniable. Reflecting on the purpose of the run, Ms. Chia shared:

“BTP Power Run is more than just a race. It’s a tribute to wellness, unity, and the forward-looking spirit of Bandar Tasik Puteri — the biggest township in the Northern Klang Valley. This event is about movement, joy, and most importantly, connection — among neighbours, friends, and families.”

Her words reflected the essence of BTP Power Run 2025 — a community-driven initiative that brought people together in meaningful ways.

As the day came to a close, one thing was clear: Bandar Tasik Puteri is more than just a place to live — it’s a place to grow, connect, and thrive.
