There’s nothing a little sprinkle of scallion can’t do, which is why they run out pretty quickly. For an endless supply of this kitchen staple, follow these steps:
Step 1: Chop off the green part of the vegetable. Make sure to leave an inch of the white bottom intact.
Step 2: Next, put the stubs in a clear, narrow glass to support the scallion.
Step 3: Fill the glass with an inch of water, place it in a sunny spot and it will sprout in a few days.
2. Romaine Lettuce

Step 1: Place the lettuce in a tall bowl.
Step 2: Fill the bowl with water. Make sure half of the lettuce is submerged.
Step 3: Place the lettuce near a sunny window and let it grow.
3. Bok Choy
A staple in Chinese cuisine, bok choy is a versatile vegetable that can be cooked in many different ways. Steam it, stir fry it, roast it… you name it. Here’s how to regrow this delicious and nutritious vegetable:
Step 1: Cut 2 inches from the bottom up.
Step 2: Place the bok choy in a container and fill it up until the bok choy is floating.
Step 3: Place the bok choy near a sunny window.
Step 4: Change water every two to three days to maintain freshness.
