SEREMBAN, APRIL 10: Demand for houses is still high despite slow economic growth, said Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd’s Group Managing Director, Datuk Lee Tian Hock.
Lee said people will always look for good quality houses in strategic locations and at competitive prices.
“We have gone through two economic crises in 1997 and 2007, and we know how to manage a crisis.
“There will always not be enough supply of houses as the population is growing every year,” he told reporters at the launch of Matrix’s First Hilltop Development Project, Ara Sendayan, here today.
He said as a property developer here, many house buyers, especially from the Klang Valley, have started looking for properties in Seremban.
“It’s only a matter of price and location. Even if your price is high people will choose your product if the quality is good,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lee said, the company aimed to complete the Ara Sendayan’s project within three financial years.
He said the 78.51-hectare project, with a gross development value of RM900 million, will comprise 1,300 units of residential houses.
“Today we launched the first phase, Adira Terraces, and we received an overwhelming response where 400 buyers lined up to buy 269 units of double-storey linked homes up for grabs.
“If all are taken up, the second phase will be launched in two to four months,” he said.
He said Adira Terraces, priced from RM618,888. The house has a built-up area of 2,398 square feet and comes with a complimentary membership of d’Tempat Country Club.
