KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 — Vivocom Intl Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Vivocom Enterprise Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM90 million mixed development project in Chepor, Perak, from Green Ventures Development Sdn Bhd.
In a statement, Vivocom Intl said its unit would serve as the turnkey contractor responsible for designing and constructing the structure, infrastructure and all associated works for the project.
It said construction for the entire development was expected to be completed within 24 months after the launch of the project.
The construction segment is expected to be the group’s main revenue generator, whereby it had secured projects totalling more than RM1.2 billion to date.
Executive Director Choo Seng Choon said the latest project was a milestone for the company’s construction division in its aim to become a regional player.
“Having successfully secured our first ever project in Perak, shareholders can look forward to additional projects that we are currently bidding for in Perak.
“Vivocom’s construction arm, so far, has garnered a project pipeline of RM2.5 billion, and this is expected to grow further in the next six months,” he added.
