Johor Bahru, September 27 – UMLand Seri Austin recently celebrated the Mooncake Festival with a myriad of decorative installations, highlighting the lights and sounds of the mid-autumn festival, held in the Seri Austin Gallery. Despite the haze and other mid-autumn festival around Johor Bahru, more than 300 guests attended the celebration and UMLand took the opportunity to thank all its residents and business associates for their continuous support. Seri Austin was beautifully transformed with a thousand lanterns decorating the township.
The mooncake festival which symbolizes gatherings and reunions, aligns with UMLand’s principle of providing ample opportunities for social-culture networking. The highlight of the night was the Chang-e performance, which brought the guests back to a time of traditional poise and beauty. In conjunction with the meaningful festival, UMLand also gave away free lanterns UMLand Seri Austin Mooncake Festival 2015. While feasting on complimentary mooncakes and drinks, guests were entertained by various performances including a LED Chinese yoyo performance, an amazing face changing performance, a singing competition and an exciting magic show. Lucky draw sessions were also held where the lucky guests walked away with interesting prizes.
