
KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 — UEM Group Bhd has allocated over RM1.2 million for its Ramadan corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
In a statement today, Group Managing Director Datuk Izzaddin Idris said over 100,000 Malaysians are expected to benefit from the group’s CSR initiatives.
He said that the company will also be distributing 18,500 bubur lambuk packs and about 70,000 packets of dates to local communities and highway users at selected Rest and Service Areas along the North-South Expressway.
“We will also be giving 100 students some groceries, sarongs, headscarves and cash to to help them and their families during Ramadan and for the Aidilfitri celebration,” he added.
