Tropicana Urban Homes Set To Tap Market Demand For Modern Yet Affordable Homes

 Tropicana Urban Homes leverages on Industrialised Building System (IBS) that promotes environmental sustainability, quality homes and faster turnaround time
 Targets to build around 15,000 units over the next five years
 Priced between RM300,000 to RM500,000, it is ideal for first-time homebuyers, middle-income professionals, young homebuyers and new families

Petaling Jaya, Selangor (28 July 2017) – In line with the Government agenda to build more affordable homes, Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or “The Group”) today officially unveiled “Tropicana Urban Homes” to address the underlying needs of the middle income community.

Recognising the urgent need to fill this space, Tropicana will leverage in building quality homes using Industrialised Building System (IBS), an ideal building system that will promote environmental sustainability for better quality homes and faster turnaround time.

During the launch of Tropicana Urban Homes, Dato’ Yau Kok Seng, Group CEO of Tropicana said, “In line with our government’s initiative to increase the affordable housing supply and homeownership in the country, we target to build around 15,000 units of quality homes in strategic urban areas of our existing and new landbanks in the next five years, to back our government in reaching its target of 1 million units by 2020.”

The launch of Tropicana Urban Homes also marks a new milestone for the Group to create new revenue stream as it enables the Group to expand its expertise into property management services, one-stop service centres, including other renovations and fit out services with its premier partners. Essentially, these new home owners will obtain the same value-added enhancements as those in the high-end segments, consistent with the Group’s strategy to deliver exceptional values to its customers.

Quality, modern homes without a hefty price tag

Speaking on the prospects of Tropicana Urban Homes, Yau commented, “We are thrilled to offer first-time homebuyers, middle-income professionals, young homebuyers and new families, who aspire for modern living, but in need with a little extra help to get on the property ladder. Our homes under this brand new collection are not only cost effective, but also built on our unique DNA.”

Given the shortage of strategically located homes at an affordable price tag that caters to the need of young and aspiring homebuyers in Malaysia, coupled with Tropicana’s excellent track record on delivering quality homes, Yau is confident that Tropicana Urban Homes will be well received.

The maiden launch of its Tropicana Urban Homes will be conducted at two of its award-winning townships of Tropicana Aman and Tropicana Heights, which offers easy accessibility to central park, world class educational institutions and neighbourhood commercial hubs in 2017.

Priced between RM300,000 and RM500,000, the Tropicana Urban Homes units range from 650 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft. Interested homebuyers may get in touch with its sales team or book your desired homes via a purpose-built online booking website as soon as it is launched later this year. So stay tuned so that you do not miss out this great opportunity!
