26 APRIL, PETALING JAYA – Tropicana Gardens Mall (“TGM”), a subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Berhad teamed up with the Group’s charity arm, Tropicana Foundation, and extended their support to frontliners, especially the food delivery riders. TGM aims to distribute a total of 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk over 20 days during the Ramadhan cycle – from 23 April to 12 May 2021. The delicious delicacy was specially prepared by the executive chef at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort who made the comfort food as a way of saying thank you to all frontliners for their hard work and dedication.
TGM’s Managing Director, Andrew Ashvin commented on the giveaway initiative as he and his team members handed out the food packs at the curbside, concourse floor drop-off area of Tropicana Gardens Mall. .
“Staying true to our Tropicana mantra, we aim to redefine the art of living by providing a wholesome neighbourhood mall where our community can live, shop, relish and relax. To date, we have recorded 68% take-up rate and we are so thankful for netting support from our tenants, our shoppers, and the unsung heroes – the food delivery riders – that waited patiently at the front of our mall, to deliver or pick up food. Many of whom are unable to balik kampung as the interstate movement restrictions are still in effect. So, we decided to surprise them and give a little taste of kampung with our signature Tropicana bubur lambuk,” he said.
