Grand opening of Tropicana Alam phase 1 show unit

Puncak Alam – In October 2023, property developer Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or “the Group”) introduced its first signature township in Puncak Alam. Aptly named Tropicana Alam, this 362-acre integrated development offers 8 lifestyle and commercial components. The township unveiled the Avisa Residences first phase modern terrace show units while celebrating the 70% take-up of its 431 units within the first 7 months. This exciting update is due to the high demand for the development on its first opening weekend in March 2024. The continued success of phase 1 encouraged the rollout of phase 2 which welcomed many early bird registrants wanting to find out more about the first 2-storey premium green terraces in Puncak Alam. Consisting of two main unit types, there is an additional 5 ft garden at the back of Type A houses while Type B houses are built with extra space in the kitchen area.

In conjunction with this grand opening, a fun and entertaining all-day Ria Ria Thai Bazaar was held at the Tropicana Alam Property Gallery from 11am to 10pm. The event saw more than 3,600 strong attendees, who were among the first to view the newly unveiled show units. They also got to indulge in the festivities of the Thai-themed bazaar activities where there were more than 50 bustling Thai bazaar stalls with varieties of food, a Muay Thai fighting competition supported by Malaysia Muay Thai Association, traditional Thai dance performances, a petting zoo with friendly alpacas, relaxing Thai massages, traditional Thai costume try-on, colourful fireworks, special appearances by KOLs and even a limited-edition door gift. In line with Tropicana’s ESG commitments, Tropicana donated to Puncak Alam and the underprivileged community as well as planted 5 trees (out of 1,549 trees) in one of the compounds within the 4.5-acre park to kick start its green living pledge.

Ria Ria Thai Bazaar attracted more than 3600 visitors and purchasers

The charitable donations were presented by Mr Ong Chou Wen, Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana and Ms Ixora Ang, the Managing Director of Marketing & Sales and Business Development of Tropicana through Tropicana Foundation to The National Autism Society of Malaysia (“NASOM”) and Permuafakatan Persatuan Penduduk Puncak Alam.

During her welcome speech, Ms Ixora Ang shared, “The Tropicana Alam development is a well-received township as it is located in a most strategic piece of residential land in Puncak Alam with security in the form of a gated and guarded community. Nestled amidst established neighbourhoods and aligned with our mantra to redefine the art of living, it offers residents immediate access to various conveniences such as a 5-acre scenic lake, 4.5-acre central park, 1.3km tranquil lakeside jogging trail, an outdoor basketball court, takraw and badminton court. Developed with Tropicana’s 8 unique development DNAs, it is located with multiple accessibility via major highways including LATAR, GUTHRIE, DASH, NKVE, WCE and the NorthSouth Expressway. Also complying with our ESG commitments, we are pleased to also share that Phase 2 is GreenRE certified, reflecting our commitment to green living.”
