NILAI, May 8 — The development of Bandar Enstek by TH Properties Sdn Bhd (THP) will also take into account the large scale development project, Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV).
THP Group chairman Datuk Azizan Abd Rahman said this was to ensure that there was no overlap between THP’s projects and those of the MVV project, which covered areas in Seremban, Nilai and Port Dickson.
“We have been developing the new township of Bandar Enstek of over 2,072 hectares of land near the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for the past 15 years.
“So far, we have completed 50 per cent of the development. We expect the remaining 50 per cent to be completed within the next 10 to 15 years depending on the state of the property market,” he told reporters during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Bandar Enstek Mosque at the Islamic Community Centre in Bandar Enstek here, today.
The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
Azizan said the building of the mosque, which cost RM4.2 million, was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to the residents of Bandar Enstek, which had now reached about 11,500 people.
“The cost of building the mosque is RM4.2 million, with RM3.2 million borne by THP to complement the RM1 million collected by the mosque’s committee,” he said.
