Kuala Lumpur, 19 June 2017 – TAHPS Group Berhad (“TAHPS”) on Friday, 16 June, 2017, hosted a break fast event for children from Pusat Jagaan Mesra Limpahan Kasih as part of its “We Care” Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
Pusat Jagaan Mesra Limpahan Kasih is a welfare home that is located within the Bukit Puchong township that provides care, support and shelter for either orphans or abused children from single or very poor families. It relies solely on donations for its day-to-day operations. In all, TAHPS hosted 30 children for the break fast event.
“We picked Pusat Jagaan Mesra Limpahan Kasih as we wanted to make this Ramadan special by doing something meaningful for the underprivileged within the Bukit Puchong community,” said Eugene Khoo.
At the break fast event, each child received a duit raya and a special gift of their choice. This was done as part of TAHPS’ Make-A-Wish initiative whereby the children were presented with a gift of their choice. TAHPS also made a donation by presenting a cheque of RM2,000 to the home.
In addition, TAHPS also distributed bubur lambok to all Royal Malaysia Police (“PDRM”) officers in Bukit Puchong.
“This is a small token of appreciation for keeping our township safe and secure by remembering the contributions of PDRM,” said Khoo.
