KUALA LUMPUR: Sunsuria Berhad (“Sunsuria”) today announced its Q3 financial results, posting revenues of RM122.7mil and net profit of RM31.9mil, underlining the company’s solid business performance resulting from positive response from the market for its products.
Year-to-date, the company’s revenue increased to RM290.2mil from RM114.7mil whilst net profit increased to RM60.5mil from RM19.3mil as compared to the corresponding 9-month period last year.
Year-on-year, its Q3 revenue has more than doubled to RM122.7mil from RM58.4mil and net profit increased by 373% to RM31.9mil from RM6.7mil. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Q3 revenue represents a 18% increase while net profit increased by 77%, as compared to RM103.7mil and RM18mil respectively in Q2.
“Our financial performance remains on the uptrend and we are grateful to our customers for continuing to show strong support for our developments, particularly at Forum 1 Setia Alam and Suria Residences in Bukit Jelutong as well as Jasper Square, Bell Avenue, The Olive and Bell Suites at Sunsuria City. We hope to maintain this momentum and end the year on a high,” said Mr. Koong Wai Seng, CEO of Sunsuria.
“The strong demand for our developments at Sunsuria City has become the backbone for our strong performance this year. As we continue to innovate and improve on our design concepts and delivery in our next few launches, we hope to build on this track record and contribute towards a remarkable FY2017 performance,” he said.
As further indication of its strong financial performance, Sunsuria received the privilege of a Gold Award at The Edge Billion Ringgit Club Awards 2017 on Monday, 21st August for the Highest Returns to Shareholders Over Three Years.
