27 January, JOHOR BAHRU – Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar wants the Rumah Impian Bangsa Johor (RIBJ) affordable housing project to be expanded throughout the state.
According to the posting on his Facebook page today, Sultan Ibrahim also wanted the project to benefit all races in the state to ensure the people of Johor would be able to own homes in perfect locations and at affordable prices.
Applicants of RIBJ will first be screened by the Vetting Board, which is jointly chaired by Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail, the posting added.
Earlier, Sultan Ibrahim met state Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani and Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) chief executive officer Fadhly Suffian Laili at Pejabat Mados, Istana Bukit Pelangi, here today.
In the one-hour meeting, Sultan Ibrahim viewed the latest RIBJ project site plan in Batu Pahat, to be developed together with the Johor Corporation (JCorp), as well as discussed the latest development in YSIJ.
The posting also said that Sultan Ibrahim was expected to officiate the ceremony to hand over the second-stage of the RIBJ Offer Letter on March 3.
