I want to congratulate SkyWorld for embracing this professional quality practice by investing RM3.8 million into this 13,000 square feet SkyWorld Quality Centre. SkyWorld is one of the biggest contributors to the Federal Territories Affordable Housing programme (RUMAWIP) and SkyWorld affordable home series, SkyAwani will also be in compliance with the QLASSIC quality standards. I hope other developers could follow SkyWorld’s initiatives by offering quality homes and working hand in hand with the Federal Government in developing more affordable housing to build a better quality of life for our people. We want to continue to help reduce the burden of the cost of living of the people in the Federal Territory.”
Datuk Ng Thien Phing, Founder & Group MD of SkyWorld echoed the Minister’s statement, stating, “As a responsible property developer, we always strive to provide more value-added features to our products. Purchasers are becoming more selective. So besides offering innovative, location-centric and various facilities & amenities, one important aspect is quality assurance. We believe everyone can and should be able to afford quality a home. We also spoke to CIDB and found that there are about 7,600 projects and developments completed each year and only 4.1% is quality certified. We want to be a part of the top 4% and hence the Quality Centre was born to signify our quality pledge to our purchasers. And it is for this reason that we’ve invested RM3.8 million into this centre.”
The SkyWorld Quality Centre is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia and acts as a quality benchmark for all SkyWorld developments. The centre signifies SkyWorld commitments to QLASSIC and CONQUAS quality measurements, showcasing compliant and non-compliant workmanships. The SkyWorld Quality Centre will help you to identify quality shortcomings that you might not be able to identify visually. Important labels will also be included, describing the quality requirements accompanied by comprehensive tutorial videos. This 13,000 square feet centre boasts 10 functional areas such as the SkyWorld lounge, a mini auditorium that can seat 30 persons, a comprehensive show unit consisting of living room, bedroom, yard, balcony, corridor, staircase, kitchen and bathroom. This centre will be used as a training hub for SkyWorld staff, contractors & consultants where they are nurtured to pay even closer attention to the quality of SkyWorld homes. It is also where SkyWorld welcomes homeowners, students and the public who wish to learn about the quality of certified workmanship in Malaysia.
