20 March, KUALA LUMPUR – City-developer SkyWorld Development Group recently achieved two significant milestones with the timely completion of SkyAwani 3 Residences – an affordable housing project in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, as well as its SkyBridge located on the 52nd floor. The SkyBridge has been bestowed with the ‘Highest Residential SkyBridge in Malaysia’ title by the Malaysia Book of Records.
“We are not only providing a comfortable home but also elevating the living lifestyle of those residing here. With a strong commitment to quality workmanship and comprehensive facilities, our homebuyers will be experiencing an enjoyable sky living experience at SkyAwani 3,” said SkyWorld Chief Executive Officer, Lee Chee Seng. SkyAwani 3 SkyBridge which stands at 170.55-meter (559.54ft) is located on the 52nd level of the residences (facilities floor). This 550-meter (1804 ft) long sky bridge interconnects all three towers, where residents can enjoy unobstructed views of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline. Besides the beautiful cityscape, there are other facilities such as a jogging track, chess games, outdoor fitness and ample spaces to encourage healthy social interaction.
“We are very proud to see another new milestone being achieved by SkyWorld. It is impressive to see how an affordable home can include comprehensive facilities, an outstanding façade and quality workmanship. Well done, SkyWorld team and congratulations to its future residents who will be enjoying the million-dollar panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur high up from Level 52,” commented Jwan Heah, Chief Marketing Officer of The Malaysia Book of Records. SkyAwani 3 Residences is a ‘Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia’ project that is compliant with the Qlassic (Quality Assessment System in Construction) workmanship.
The development comprises 1,905 units and offers a 24-hour, three-tiered security. It boasts 22 active and recreational facilities that suit all generations such as a swimming pool with bubble jet jacuzzi, a games room, a full basketball court, a gym and many more. The three-bedroom and two-bathroom units with a built-up size of 800 sqft are priced at RM300k and were quickly snapped up as soon as it was launched.
SkyWorld is in full support of the government’s initiative to provide 1 million units of affordable homes by 2029. To date SkyWorld has launched 6,236 units of affordable homes and is one of the biggest contributors to ‘Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia’. According to Lee, the Awani Series is cemented as one of the most sought-after affordable homes given its extraordinary value of good price, practical layout, quality workmanship and full-fledged condominium facilities. It is not surprising to see that the Awani Series are fully taken and his team is in the planning stage for its sixth instalment. SkyWorld plans to launch four projects in Kuala Lumpur this year at various strategic locations in Setapak, Cheras, Taman Melawati and Setiawangsa.
