8 January, BUKIT JALIL – Since its official launch on 13 December 2017, city developer, SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) continues its efforts to promote the innovative #DaretoCare charity drive. Since December, SkyWorld has been receiving hundreds of encouraging supports from various donors and last Friday, Lions Club jumped on board by donating 20 sets of school bags packed with new school shoes, socks and pencil boxes.

Present to receive the donation on behalf of SkyWorld was Mr Lee Chee Seng, Chief Operating Officer, whilst Lions Club was represented by Mr Ling Sew Chin, President of Lions Club Puchong. The donation was witnessed by representatives of Star Media Group – Ms Lydia Wang, Deputy Senior GM Business Development and Mr Loo Phan Kooi, Special Officer to Group CEO.

Thanking Lions Club for their kind generosity, Mr Lee shared, “A big part of our job, as a KL-centric city developer is to transform the city to a better place by providing a sustainable Sky Living experience. We want to live by our motto of transforming the city and what better way than to promote this #DaretoCare charity drive in our aim to transform the lives of the underprivileged society. We are thankful many Malaysians have stepped up to donate and today, we received such meaningful contributions from Lions Club. Big thanks to all for supporting this cause.”

The #DaretoCare campaign will see the distribution of 50,000 Star newspapers, enveloped in eye-catching collectable brown paper bags, in selected areas within the Klang Valley on 13th January 2018. The public is encouraged to fill the brown bags with items from the suggested list needed by the underprivileged homes. They can also leave heartfelt and encouraging messages on the back of the paper bag to brighten up the recipients’ day. For those who wish to donate but did not receive the paper bag can just bring along your donation items to any of our SkyWorld property galleries. The bags can be dropped off at either one of the four SkyWorld property galleries from 18th December 2017 to 15th February 2018 at:
