22 December, SKYARENA, SETAPAK – Since its official launch on 13 December 2017, city developer, SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) continues its efforts to promote the innovative #DaretoCare charity drive. Today, prominent radio personalities from Star Media Group turned up to further boost the charity campaign and donated goodies at SkyWorld property galleries, Setapak. The fun-loving radio hosts from Suria FM and 988 FM lend their voice to this good cause in hope that it will uplift public awareness while encouraging fellow Malaysians and the public to lend a helping hand through a simple of act of donating.
In a statement, Datuk Ng Thien Phing, Founder and Group Managing Director of SkyWorld Development Group shared, “A big part of our job, as a KL-centric city developer is to transform the city to a better place by providing a sustainable Sky Living experience. We want to live by our motto of transforming the city and what better way than to promote this #DaretoCare charity drive in our aim to transform the lives of the underprivileged society. We are grateful to Star Media Group and its radio hosts’ support. We hope this charity drive will inspire everyone to give what they can to help – it doesn’t matter if it’s big or small.”
The #DaretoCare campaign will see the distribution of 50,000 Star newspapers, enveloped in eye-catching collectable brown paper bags, in selected areas within the Klang Valley on 13th January 2018. The public is encouraged to fill the brown bags with items from the suggested list needed by the underprivileged homes. They can also leave heartfelt and encouraging messages on the back of the paper bag to brighten up the recipients’ day. For those who wish to donate but did not receive the paper bag can bring along your donation items to any of our SkyWorld property galleries. The bags can be dropped off at either one of the four SkyWorld property galleries from 18th December 2017 to 15th February 2018 at:
