Bandar Rimbayu Celebrates the Auspicious Aidilfitri with a Chat on its Recent Developments

4 July, KUALA LUMPUR – Embracing the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Bandar Rimbayu organised a Sembang Raya session with members of the media, introducing the newly appointed Senior General Manager of Bandar Rimbayu, Mr. Chai Kian Soon and an update on the recent developments of the award-winning modern township.The event was also graced with the presence of Mr. Edward Chong, the Managing Director of IJM Land Bhd.

Friends from the media were served with a tantalising feast boasting the Malay culture and heritage to deepen the Raya Aidilfitri ambiance. On top of the meals, Sheila Majid graced the event with her voice, belting her jazz infused songs and awed the attendees soon after the tete-a-tete session. Leading the informal chat was Mr. Chai Kian Soon who was beyond excited to share what Bandar Rimbayu has planned to further improve on its developments and create a more nurturing home for a tight-knit community.

This steadfast approach to their business objectives have also managed to award them with two prestigious awards; the World Gold Winner in the Master Plan category at the Fiabci World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2017 and the PAM Awards 2017 in the Planning & Master Planning category.

When asked of the developer’s feedback on their recent achievements, Mr. Chai Kian Soon said, “We were humbled and happy to have accepted the prestigious awards! Of course, the deliberation process was not an easy task for the panel but we believe it is due to our steadfast ability to fulfil the current needs of the people and the quality behind our innovative developments.”

Current Developments

Focusing on its current and completed developments, Bandar Rimbayu announced that the Persiaran Rimbayu has been opened for public use giving access to Bandar Saujana Putra interchange to ELITE and SKVE highways, making commute much easier for families living in the area. Moreover, it is situated only 35 kilometres away from KLIA/KLIA2 and 27 kilometres away from Putrajaya.

On top of the newly opened road, Bandar Rimbayu has also made an effort in supporting the government’s goal of creating more affordable homes for fellow Malaysians. Halaman 11, a Rumah Selangorku initiative has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is available with 2 types of homes fit for families with 2 monthly income groups of below RM3,000 and between RM3,000 to RM10,000 respectively. According to Chai, “The two options provide a solution to the lower income community in securing a future home for them,which is why we believe this is a unique opportunity everyone can take advantage of.”

Ensuring the comfort and sustainability of the people, the Blossom Drive, a vast commercial unit has also been built to cater the needs of families in the area. With 48 2&3-storey shop lot units and tenants ranging from convenient stores, clinics and restaurants, the homeowners of Bandar Rimbayu will always be at ease for anything could be found within reach in due time. Supporting businesses all around, the Blossom Square, an 882&3-storey shop lot unit development situated right next to Blossom Drive, will also be ready for use soon.

Constantly on the prowl to succeed its own achievements, Bandar Rimbayu realises the importance of education. Hence, the conception of the Oasis International School, an American-based education institution offering innovative academic models and a variety of curricular and co-curricular programs taught by American and certified educators. The school will be accepting its first intake on the 1st of August 2018.

Future launches

With great reception on its property’s offerings thus far, Bandar Rimbayu is in the midst of planning for the launch of SWANS–a double storey link house project with a starting price of RM850,000 and each unitcomes with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Bringing in features of the future, the homes in this phase will come with an IOT (Internet of Things) infrastructure to satisfy the current needs of today’s generation. Tentatively to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2018, the SWANS project will only come with 195 units available for sale.

Taking a leap towards tightening the bonds of its community, Rimbayu Clubhouse was announced to be tentatively opened by January 2019. With a number of amenities and activities such as an Infinity Olympic size swimming pool, a children’s wading pool with water play equipment, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, 4 Badminton courts, 2 Squash courts, a Karaoke room, a Gaming room, a Double Storey Gym, a Linear park and a cafeteria, families and friends are bound to enjoy the living area. Not only that, two other drive-thru outlets–Wendy’s and Starbucks–will also be available at the clubhouse by the second half of 2019.

According to Chai, “We at IJM Land and Bandar Rimbayu are more than excited for what is about to come in the near future. We hope that all the developments we’ve worked on will bear fruit in giving homes to fellow Malaysians all around. Be it education, lifestyle, sports or the value of togetherness, we have thought of it all.”

Upcoming events

Chai then added, “Holding tight on our mission to better the community, Bandar Rimbayu has made an entrance into every Malaysian’s favourite sport–football. Being the main sponsor for the Destiny Football Development Centre, we will be working together with the youth football community to impart applying philosophy and set the stage for the young generation of footballers with the intention of revolutionising Malaysian football.At the heart of the philosophy is the specific focus on the physical, technical, tactical, psychological, mental, character and social elements of the sport”

Bandar Rimbayu has time and again showcased its focus on familial activities through its past efforts in organising events especially with the Run with Me fun run initiative. Making its 4th inception this year, Run with Me 2018 will be taking place on the 15thof July 2018 from 6.00am at the ARC, Bandar Rimbayu. The fun run has managed to garner 2,500 runners to join the run and the participants will stand a chance to win an iPhone X, some Dyson products, Garmin watches and many more merchandise. The first 200 runners who manage to form a family of 4 will win a RM200 cash reward for each team.

Happening on the same day as the fun run initiative, Bandar Rimbayu will be organising its Hari Raya Open House to further tighten the community bonds and celebrate Aidilfitri with one another. Beginning from 4pm to 6.30pm, traditional Malay food stalls, a special performance by Sharizan Borhan and Colours of Voice Acapella band along with some traditional dances, families and friends are invited to join in the auspicious celebration and enjoy the fun.

Edward Chong concludes, “We always feel that families in today’s digital age can be a little out of touch when it comes to nature, exercise or even family activities as a whole. Hence, we wanted to have activities which bond the community together and encourages families to join in. Be it a Raya celebration or a family fun run, we strive to give families the quality time they desire.”
