November 8, Kuala Lumpur – RHB Bank Berhad launched two innovative solutions – the RHB MyHome App and Banking-at-Your-Doorstep service. Catering to increasingly digital savvy customers, the app is the first of its kind in the industry to provide convenience in terms of mortgage applications and documents submissions via smartphone whilst the Banking-at-Your-Doorstep service on the website enables new customers who have opened an RHB Smart Account/RHB Smart Account-i online to complete the process without having to visit the branches.
Both digital solutions aim to offer a simple, fast and seamless banking experience to customers.
RHB MyHome App
The RHB MyHome App enables customers to apply for home financing, submit documents online and check their application status as well, all in just a few clicks. Users will have easy access to information on mortgage, financing, guides via RHB Mortgage Advice and simulate eligibility with RHB Mortgage Calculator. The app is currently available on App Store and Google Play store to allow customers access anytime, anywhere.
Today RHB also launched the Banking-at-Your-Doorstep available on the website for new users of the RHB Smart Account/RHB Smart Account-i within Klang Valley. This service enables customers to open an online account, activate their account and have the debit cards delivered at home or their workplace at a pre-arranged time.
An on-the-spot verification process will be conducted by RHB’s very own rider to ensure the utmost security. The Banking-at-Your-Doorstep will be extended to other regions within Malaysia over the next few months.
When asked on the security features of the app, Rohan Krishnalingam, Group Chief Operations Officer of RHB Banking Group explained that the app has been tried and tested by the Group’s digital transformation team. Customer’s private and confidential information will also be stored at a secured server.

In 2018, through these innovative digital banking solutions, RHB anticipates to open more than 50,000 RHB Smart Account/RHB Smart Account-i, of which 30% are expected to opt for the Banking-at-Your-Doorstep service. Launched on 1 March, the RHB Smart Account/RHB Smart Account-i are online deposit accounts that offer customers attractive returns of 3% per annum + 1% Bonus Pay-outs when they Save, Pay Bills Online, Spend & Invest with RHB.
