16 March, KOTA KINABALU – Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) is offering 30,155 units of affordable homes at the Sabah mega edition housing expo being held at Sabah Trade Centre since yesterday till Monday.
PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias said about 16,000 units of the homes being offered at the expo themed, ‘Ekspo Jualan Perumahan – Ke Arah Sejuta Impian’, which is jointly organised with federal and state housing agencies, cost below RM300,000.
He said PR1MA was targeting the M40 category or middle income earners who were looking to own their first home.
According to him, PR1MA had developed 12 projects involving 12,000 units of affordable homes in Sabah with a gross development value (GDV) of more than RM7.5 billion.
Meanwhile, he said PR1MA would operate a sales office at Aropod Jalan kepayan, Kota Kinabalu in August.
“This is one of our commitments to assist the M40 group in Sabah who want high quality and modern concept homes. PR1MA is very committed in helping the government to ensure that affordable housing is provided to the people in Sabah, in line with the states economic growth, he told reporters here today.
