IPOH, Jan 7 — Perak’s tallest building, the 29-storey MH Pinnacle, will be completed by end-2018, says Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
“We have been planning for several years now to make Perak a developed state in line with the Perak Aman Jaya concept,” he told reporters after the groundbreaking here today.
The project under Perak Menteri Besar Inc (MB Inc) is a joint venture with local developer Man Hoe Holdings Sdn Bhd, and covers 1.06 hectares.
MB Inc Chief Executive Officer Datuk Aminuddin Hashim said the mixed development, comprising office space, hotel rooms, residential units and shopping mall, has a gross development value of RM220 million.
It is MB Inc’s second such development in Ipoh after the almost-completed Ipoh Soho project, which is also a joint venture with the private sector, he said.
MB Inc not only generates revenue for the state government but also catalyses the state’s socio-economic development through its involvement in projects that benefit the people, he added.
