10 November, PENGERANG, JOHOR – The signing of MoU between Green Target Group and Dwi Emas International School here today solidifies the future establishment of southeastern Johor’s very first international school here in Pengerang. The auspicious event was graced by the presence of YAB Dato’ Dr. Sahruddin Bin Jamal, Menteri Besar of Johor as a witness to the signing and also as the honorary guest to officiate the opening of INNOCITY project sales gallery.
With the confirmation of establishing a campus in Pengerang, this will be the 3rd international school for Ace Edventure Group, which Dwi Emas International School ia a part of, after the ones in Shah Alam & Petaling Jaya. The campus will be situated on an 8-acre land within the INNOCITY township project and would be able to accommodate up to 1,800 students. Dwi Emas International School, the first entrepreneurial school in Johor, will carry the ACE Edventure Programme which provides a rich and well-rounded education for its students. Dwi Emas International School has been awarded many accolades over the past 5 years including The Star Outstanding Business Awards in 2017 as well as Best-Practice Pioneers and A World-Class Education in 2017 and 2018 respectively by the Cambridge University Student Union. The international school is slated to be completed and operational by 2022 and will cater not just to the local market but also to foreign students, particularly from Singapore.
INNOCITY is a 500-acre mixed township development between Green Target Group and YPJ Palm Plantations Sdn Bhd with a projected GDV of more than RM3 billion.
