Mediation centre on strata building issues in Kl ready in March

test

3 January, KUALA LUMPUR – A mediation centre to resolve issues and disputes concerning strata buildings will be opened to the public in Jalan Bunus here from March onwards.

The centre under the supervision of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be handled by a certified Commissioner of Buildings who will assist in giving advice directly to owners of strata homes.

DBKL advisory board member Datuk Wilson Lau Hoi Keong said the centre was expected to resolve at least 70 per cent of the cases without having to go to the Strata Management and Housing Tribunal.

He was speaking at a media conference after the iHero Charity Run 2018.
