Matrix Concepts to Host 3-week Long CNY Celebration in Bandar Seri Sendayan

SEREMBAN, 20 January – The spring festival is here and Matrix Concepts is welcoming everyone to the CNY Celebration “Legend of the Lion Dance” at d’Tempat Country Club, Bandar Sri Sendayan. The celebration will feature a lot of fun and exciting activities for the whole family starting from 21st January until 12th February 2017.

For this event, Matrix Concepts has achieved a new record for having the largest lion head in Negeri Sembilan, with a measurement of 8ft in height and 9ft wide, endorsed by the Dragon & Lion Dance Federation of Malaysia Secretary-General, Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt. The opening ceremony of the largest lion head was officiated by the Chairman of Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad, Dato’ Haji Mohamad Haslah and Group Managing Director, Dato’ Lee Tian Hock, followed by a performance of the lion dance troupe, to bestow wishes of good fortune and prosperity in the Year of Rooster.

Present together were Dato’ Hj Mat Ali bin Hassan, State Secretary Negeri Sembilan and the Board of Directors of Matrix Concepts. Along the coming CNY weekends, visitors will get to enjoy family-friendly activities such as Chinese Calligraphy, God of Prosperity Meet & Greet, Clay Art Demo & Workshop, Tanglung Decoration, Tarot Card Reading, Cookies Decoration, Origami and Handmade Chinese Knot.

On the last day of Chinese New Year, more exciting events and activities will be arranged by Matrix Concepts, such as 18 Drum Performances, 18 Lions Dance and the Art of the Lion Making for a rousing Chap Goh Mei on the 11th of February 2017. Meanwhile, the 3-times World Champion Luminous Dragon Dance from Yahya Awal Dragon Dance Johor Bahru will be performing to mark the end of this wonderful Chinese New Year.
