
22 November, PETALING JAYA – Mah Sing Group’s (Mah Sing) Arts and Lights hit 10,000 registrations as people are booking their tickets to attend the exhibition. The event, which will be held for six weeks in Icon City, Petaling Jaya, opened to the public on 19 November and will welcome visitors every Saturday and Sunday until 24 December 2017. Arts and Lights will be open from 12pm to 9pm and admission is completely free. Visitors only need to reserve their tickets at www.artsandlights.com.my
Mah Sing’s Group Managing Director Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum shared “We are very encouraged by the number of registrations who have booked their tickets for Arts and Lights. The 12 distinctive and immersive art and technology installations are big draws and on the first day we opened Arts and Lights (on 19th November) there were many happy faces taking photos in the installations”
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum added that “Over 30,000 sq ft of space in Icon City has been turned into creative installations, interactive props and colourful rooms with captivating immersive environments. The installations are designed to be Instagram and photo friendly and we encourage visitors to immerse themselves into the installations when taking photos.”
Malaysia’s First Pop-up Arts and Technology Experience
Arts and Lights has 12 installations which include Vista Interactive Space Wall, Planet Vertica, Galaxy of Centura, D’sara Music and Lights, Southville Space Party, Dimension Room, Flying Over Meridin East, Anti-Gravity, Lakeville Rolling Comets, Aruna in the Sky, Moons of Meridin and Digi Wishing Tree.
Arts and Lights will have a number of food trucks and vendors who will be in Icon City for the next 6 weeks for visitors to try out. There will also be other fun activities taking place in Icon City during Arts and Lights that will entertain visitors such as hoverboard rides and activities for children.
