Bangi, 2 August – Mah Sing Group’s (Mah Sing) Cerrado Residential Suites Tower A achieved an impressive 100% take up rate during its launch over the weekend. The launch, which took place at Southville City’s Sales Gallery and Show Village, saw all 404 units of Tower A being taken up over a two day period. The units come in two layout options, 656 square (sq) feet (ft) (2 bedroom) and 825 sq ft (3 bedroom) and are affordably priced from RM357,000.
The successful launch of Cerrado’s Tower A has seen Southville City lock in RM1.77billion in just over two years. This follows the successful launch of Lakeville Residence’s Final Tower in Taman Wahyu which attained a 92% take up rate a fortnight ago.
Cerrado Residential Suites are part of the third phase of Southville City after Savanna Executive Suites and Lifestyle Shops (first phase) and Avens Residence landed super link homes (second phase). The Group has successfully locked in more than 3,800 units from the launch of all three phases, to date.
Due to the overwhelming response from the launch of Cerrado’s Tower A, registration for Tower B has started with the official launch scheduled on the 13th and 14th of August 2016. The launch of Cerrado’s Tower B will be decked out in a Merdeka theme, in conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day.

Cerrado are affordable serviced apartments comprising 4 towers with 404 units per tower. The project is set to be completed in the next four years. Further to this, Cerrado offers 48 retail shop lots and 10 units of poolside cabanas. The retail shops offers an average build-up of 1,400 sq ft priced from RM1.1million, while the average build-up for the poolside Cabana is 1,800 sq ft, priced from RM1.1million.
Making Homes Accessible to Youths with BSN Youth Housing Scheme
The launch of Cerrado also marked Mah Sing’s collaboration with Bank Simpanan Nasional’s (BSN) Youth Housing Scheme, to make homes more accessible to young couples. Under the BSN Youth Housing Scheme, young married couples which are eligible will be entitled up to 100% financing for home loans between RM100,000 to RM500,000, of which Cerrado is eligible under the scheme. Successful applicants also receive additional financing up to 5% of the purchase price for the cost of Mortgage Reducing Term Assurance (MRTA) or Mortgage Reducing Term Takaful (MRTT). Additional aid is offered by the Government with monthly disbursements of RM200 per month for the first 2 years. There will also be a 50% stamp duty exemption on the sales and purchase agreement as well as banking facility legal documents.
Cerrado is part of Mah Sing’s Southville City township, a freehold and masterplanned cosmopolitan spanning 428 acres. The entire development has a gross development value (GDV) of RM11.1billion comprising a total of seven phases. In addition, the 10 acres Summit Park will also be completed and ready to be utilised by the community moving into Southville City by 2017.
