Mah Sing’s CEO elected as the Deputy Chairman of Real Estate & Housing Developer’s Association (Rehda) Selangor

Mah Sing’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang was recently elected as the Deputy Chairman in the Real Estate & Housing Developer’s Association (REHDA) Selangor.

20 July, KUALA LUMPUR – Mah Sing Group Berhad’s (Mah Sing) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Datuk Ho Hon Sang was recently elected as the Deputy Chairman in the Real Estate & Housing Developer’s Association (REHDA) Selangor.

Datuk Ho Hon Sang’s has more than 30 years of experience in the property industry, which makes him a suitable individual to take up this role. The appointment is effective from 5th June 2018 and he will be serving as the Deputy Chairman for two years.

Datuk Ho shared, “I am glad to be given this opportunity to serve the industry better. I am very passionate to play a part in improving the real estate industry for the developers as well as for the rakyat. As the committee of REHDA, we will work closely with government and developers to provide the right product that meets customer expectation.”

Datuk Ho’s expertise and leadership skills has contributed greatly to the company’s growth. Mah Sing recently achieved RM470million sales in its Q1 performance and is confident to exceed its sales target of RM1.8billion in 2018.

Profile

Datuk Ho has more than 30 years of experience in the property development industry, engineering, consultancy, road privatisation and general management. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from the University of Malaya and is a Member of the Institute Engineers of Malaysia and the Board of Engineers of Malaysia.

He began his professional career as an engineer involved in the development of the North South Expressway and prior to joining Mah Sing, served as the CEO of Sunsuria Bhd.

He was also the Managing Director of the Property Development Division of Sunway Berhad. Over the course of his career, Datuk Ho was involved in property development and property investment projects ranging from masterplanned townships and integrated developments with retail, commercial, educational, medical, hospitality and leisure components.
