9th APRIL, KUALA LUMPUR – Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) has launched the ‘Come Home 2 Mah Sing’ Campaign, which offers buyers the benefit of owning a property covering the Group’s completed residential and commercial projects as well as general under-construction projects – with payment-free up to 4 years.

The campaign is designed to look into specific pain points in customers’ property ownership journey namely financial (financing issues, cash-flow, return on investment), uncertainty (job & pay security, economic recession, property market price & supply), and product (quality & features, pricing & affordability package, reputation & track record).

This is on top of the various incentives and savings aimed at easing the path towards homeownership. Buyers will also be eligible to benefit further from the available units they selected under the participating projects of the campaign, given it also ties with both existing Maybank Islamic financing solution HouzKEY, as well as the Government’s Home Ownership Campaign.

Mah Sing’s Founder and Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “The country’s economy continues to recover thanks to the ongoing efforts by the Government to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, like the ongoing National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme. Such effort has instilled confidence among the public, leading towards revitalising and benefiting the local economy, including for the property market in terms of sentiments which can be seen through the positive responses from our recent project launches. For example, our M Panora project in Rawang which has 396 units saw around 500 walk-in registrants during its weekend public preview event. Driven by the occurrences and indicators mentioned, we believe that it is an appropriate time to own a home now before it is too late.”

Notwithstanding that, Mah Sing hopes that the Government will extend the Home Ownership Campaign until the end of this year to help home owners to own a home with minimal fuss. The Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) recently mentioned that sales performance was better in the second half of 2020 (2H 2020), increasing from 43% in 2H 2019 to 45% in the period under review. The association noted that first time home buyers made up a majority of purchasers in the period under view, and most homes bought were for the purpose of self-dwelling, purchasing for family members and for investment.

Mah Sing’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang said, “Along with the current low interest rate environment, we foresee that homebuyers will rush in to bag on the benefits offered by the Home Ownership Campaign which is expected to end on 31 May 2021, and our Come Home 2 Mah Sing Campaign also coincidentally ending on the same date. This would definitely be a great assistance to homebuyers themselves to maximise savings while purchasing their homes.”

The Come Home 2 Mah Sing Campaign which kicked off on 30 March 2021 also seeks to attract and capture audience from various demographics, namely career oriented young bucks; senior investors who are looking to settle down, help invest into the home for their families; as well as young families and those who just married, starting to build a family, looking for first home, or upgrade to a better home.
