Mah Sing Celebrates Topping Up Ceremony For The Loft @ Southbay, Penang

Penang, 2017 – Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) held a topping-up ceremony for The Loft@Southbay, today. The ceremony symbolises the completion of the development’s structure.

The event was graced by the presence of YB Dato’ HJ. Abdul Malik Kassim (Penang State EXCO), Datuk Ho Hon Sang (CEO of Mah Sing Group) and Seth Lim (Senior COO of Mah Sing Group).

The project is currently at 60% completion with external painting works in progress. The entire project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.

10 YEARS IN PENANG – THE PROPERTY HOTSPOT OF MALAYSIA

In 2007, the Group ventured into Penang with its first township in the island, Southbay City. This year marks the 10th year of Mah Sing’s presence in Penang. Up to date, the Group has a total of five projects with remaining landbank of 82 acres as well as remaining gross development value (RGDV) and unbilled sales of RM2.9billion.

Chief Executive Officer of Mah Sing, Datuk Ho Hon Sang said, “Over the years, we have seen Penang’s growth in the real estate investment and we believe it will continue to do well as many buyers and investors are confident with the state’s potential.”

Penang is the smallest state in Malaysia with a population of approximately 1.6 million people. The state was granted the world heritage centre status by UNESCO in 2008. THE LOFT – LOW DENSITY LIVING WITH MAXIMISATION OF FANTASTIC SEA VIEW

The 33-acre Southbay City township in Bayan Lepas consists of a mixed residential and commercial development located along the scenic Jalan Permatang Damar Laut. It is a mere 1km away from the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge (second bridge).
